Monthly meetings:

Hamilton County Green Party does not currently have a meeting scheduled.

You can find information on the current candidates or issues we support on our “Activities” page. For information on our previous positions on issues or candidates, check out our “Statements” page.

The Hamilton County Green Party has not scheduled any in person meetings since the Covid shutdown of our meeting room in 2020. We have still been doing Zoom meetings with the Ohio Green Party..

You do not need to be a Green Party member to attend the Green Party meetings, you only need to want to help support the Green Party in any way appropriate to you. If you want to attend a local/ state green party meeting you can send an email to: hamiltoncountygreenparty@gmail.com.

The following pictures are from meetings during our first year after the 2000 election:

For any of the meetings, if you have question, you can email swohgp@fuse.net or HamiltonCountyGreenParty@gmail.com or call (513) 541-6978. If you get lost the night of the event call: (513) 917-0987.

We don’t tend to have a specific agenda but usually do have a list of tasks to be accomplished at the meeting. Sometimes we use a Google Doc that is shared with those attending the meetings.

When the library reopens for meetings, the Hamilton County Green Party will likely go back to having regular meetings from 6:00 to 7:30 PM on the 3rd Thursday of the even numbered month at The Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County – Clifton Branch and has been doing so since 2017. Although we will plan to continue this practice into the future, we do make exceptions when needed. We can make library room requests ahead of time, but only get confirmations about 2 months out. Notices about meetings are updated on this web site and placed on our Facebook Pages & Groups.

Location information for the in-person monthly meetings: the room at the library is reserved from 6:00 to about 7:30 PM. The Clifton Branch is at the corner of Brookline and Ludlow Avenues, a few blocks east of the gaslight business district and directly north of Burnet Woods lake. There is a small parking lot on the north east side of the library on Wentworth Ave (off of Brookline). The Branch is served by Metro routes 17, 19, and 51. The Clifton Branch is an ADA accessible facility. It was once the home of Boss Cox and is a beautiful facility with a very nice meeting room. The official address is: 3400 Brookline Ave., Cincinnati, Ohio 45220, Phone 513-369-4447.

As you probably know the Green Party is no longer an official party in Ohio due to not getting a high enough percent of the votes in the 2018 Ohio Governor’s race.  We are still meeting and working, but are not able to meet in person due to covid.

The Southwest Ohio Green PAC only helps fund the web page and does not meet.
Contributions to the “Southwest Ohio Green PAC” are currently just used to pay for the yearly web hosting charge for this web page. When the Hamilton County Green Party was formed it was decided to keep our original web page – www.swohgp.org as well as the PAC and checking account.

In contrast, the “Hamilton County Green Party” did meet on a regular basis until 2020 when our library meeting site was closed. We had a zoom meeting in 2020 of the 2018 elected members to the Central Committee to see who wanted to remain on the Hamilton County Green Party’s Steering Committee. Here is the make up and contact information for the Hamilton County Green Party Central Committee as well as information about the 2020 Ohio Green Party Primary election: 2020 Hamilton County Green Party Committee
